Polyester fabrics dye, polyester silk are cheaper to make than polyester material
A new range of polyester fabrics are making them cheaper to manufacture than polyethylene and nylon.
The company, named Polyester Dye, said its new polyester textile is made from a blend of two new materials: polyester and polyester fibre.
“We’re making the same technology but this time we’re using our proprietary process and our process is extremely cost effective,” the company said in a statement.
“Polyester fibre is one of the fastest growing consumer fabrics in the world and it’s easy to get your hands on.”
The fibre is a more efficient alternative to synthetic materials because it is produced from a much larger amount of plant material than synthetic fibres.
It also makes up for the cost of producing the fibre by making up to 70 per cent more yarns than synthetic fibre.
Polyester Dyes CEO James Taylor said the new fibre could become a “huge market” and the company was working to “implement” the new technology to help make its products “more environmentally friendly”.
The fibre was produced using a process known as ‘saturating’, which is a process that involves soaking and heating the plant material until it is a “fibre” or “dye”.
It is also used to produce polyester products such as socks, gloves and handbags.
However, the fibre’s cost to produce is a significant concern for farmers who may not be able to afford to use it.
In a statement, Mr Taylor said he was “delighted” to see more farmers using the new fiber.
“The fact that the world’s largest producer of polyesters is offering it for the first time is great news,” he said.
“But it’s also a reminder that if you don’t have the technology to produce your own fibre, it may be difficult to find a new way to do so.”
The new range, which also includes a range of other polyester materials, is being introduced by the global polyester company, Polyester, which has been the biggest player in the industry.
Polyesters were initially made from the fibres of plants, but now they are made from synthetic fibre.
The first version of the fibre was made by British firm Alcoa in the 1960s, but the process has been upgraded to use more renewable materials.
Mr Taylor said that was part of why Polyester was now using its own fibre.
He said the company’s new fibre was more eco-friendly because it had a “lower carbon footprint than traditional polyester”.
“The process we’re implementing to make the fibre from a new plant is a low-cost, high-efficiency process and we think it’s going to be a huge market for our new products,” Mr Taylor added.
The new fibre is also made from polyester, polyethylenes and polyethylenimine, which are all low-emission, high carbon materials.
The statement also said the fibre can be dyed in several different colours, including white, blue and yellow.
